2008: The Problem
Grupo Barrdega Hit a Wall

Our parent company, operating customs warehouses since 1998, struggled with existing customs software. None understood the real-world complexities of bonded warehouses, serial tracking, or multi-entity operations.

2008-2010: Building P4
We Built It For Ourselves

Started as an internal project to solve our own pain points. Built by people who actually processed customs declarations, managed bonded inventory, and dealt with government systems daily.

2011: First External Client
Others Wanted What We Built

Other customs brokers and warehouses saw what we created and asked to use it. We realized the problem we solved wasn't unique to us—it was industry-wide across Latin America.

2012-2015: Regional Expansion
Central America Coverage

Expanded to Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador. Built government integrations (SIGA, VUCE) and localized for each country's unique requirements.

2016-2020: Americas-Wide
All 32 Americas Countries

Achieved complete Americas coverage: North America (USA, Canada, Mexico), Caribbean (11 countries), and South America (11 countries). Became the go-to platform for cross-border operations.

2021-2026: Cloud Transformation
Modern Platform, Same Expertise

Rebuilt on modern cloud architecture with mobile apps, real-time integrations, and API-first design. Maintained our customs expertise while gaining scalability and modern user experience.
